Beyond our quest for the finest ingredients in Portugal, we’ve partnered up with Josper, a leader in the industry paying homage to a culture of fire-cooking stretching back millennia.
Together with traditional Basque grilling techniques and low-emission charcoals, Josper allows us to bridge wood, smoke and flame to lock in ingredients’ natural flavours, resulting in rich, smokey flame-kissed creation.

Jorge Augusto dos Santos Rios

With over a decade of experience in the kitchen, chef Jorge’s career as chef is defined by deep dedication to growth. Chef Jorge propelled the opening of four distinct restaurants, including two as Executive Chef, and takes pleasure in guiding and leading his team, developing unique menus and ensuring excellence in every detail.
Gaining valuable experience in in renowned establishments in Brazil such as PIPO, Restaurante Vista, and Churrascada do Mar (as Executive Chef) before joining the prestigious 100 Maneiras Group in Portugal, chef Jorge has spent the majority of his career with an informed focus and extensive practice into the preparation of fish and seafood.
He combines discipline and organisation with an endless pursuit of knowledge, whether through the exploration of new cultures and techniques or in gastronomy studies, refining his skills with each day of work: Flavour, technique, and passion.
Pedro Henrique Lima

Chef Pedro Henrique Lima began his career with Chef Dario Costa at a very young age, accumulating experience in starred and award-winning restaurants across Brazil, combining work, talent and creativity in some of the coolest spots in São Paulo, Brazil.
The maestro behind our menu until Summer 2024, chef Pedro Henrique Lima complemented his dedication to high quality ingredients with culinary experimentation and a profound care for details that can be seen into each step of the process.

chef Udi Barkan
Behind our 2022 menu is chef Udi Barkan. Udi had been promoting a healthy food culture through cooking shows and government collaborations to improve the food offering in schools all across Israel and joined our kitchen team to help bring to life reîa’s culinary identity.
Working alongside chefs Dario Costa and Pedro Henrique Lima, Udi brought his vast network of local providers and his passion for fruits, vegetables, and olive oils to ensure a gastronomic offering as nourishing and healthy as delicious.
